Bethanga Bridge over Lake Hume, road bridge linking New South Wales and Victoria
Bethanga Bridge over Lake Hume, road bridge linking New South Wales and Victoria. A joint project of the two State governments and built between 1927 and 1930 as part of the Hume Dam scheme, it uses a Pratt Truss design, rare in Victoria but more common in New South Wales. The top chords are straight and parallel with the lower chord. Bellbridge, Victoria, and Bethanga, New South Wales, Australia
