Plasterer bee (Colletes cunicularius)

Plasterer bee (Colletes cunicularius). Species in this genus build underground nests and line the cells with a polyester secretion. They are often referred to as Polyester bees. Collected pollen is clearly visible on hind legs. Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park, Bas Rhin, France
