Emily Bay and an isolated Norfolk Island pine on Point Hunter at a southern tip of the island. Protected by a reef just off the Lone Pine Headland the bay is the island's safest swimming area. Once called Turtle Bay it was possibly renamed after a young Emily who died there between May 1803 and June 1804. Norfolk Island, Southwest Pacific, Australia
